Lucky! It doesn't seem to stop ours. They even like our cucumbers. It is easier to find them in the trellis though!
I usually have much better luck with vining squash over bush squash though. I just enjoy the zucchini until the squash bugs win, lol.
Rhubarb Crumble is wonderful. Also, it’s great with strawberries in jams!I ordered copies of the first two books. They'll be here Monday.
The Ball book includes a BBQ sauce (Victorian?) that uses Rhubarb and a drink/juice concentrate. Both are ones I’m planning to try.I ordered copies of the first two books. They'll be here Monday.
Excellent! Glad to hear this. Two weeks to Bee day for me.my bee hive is doing great! I have 2 deep boxes in it and it seems like they are using the top box as a honey super. The bottom deep box has 5 frames packed with capped brood. They have some pollen but not as much as I expected.
I’m not sure if I should put on another deep box so the queen has more room for laying eggs or if I should add an actual honey super.
Beautiful furniture ♡Re-creating the sitting space in the graden

They look amazing!Hi all. Still taking it easy after this week, what a disaster. The house is in chaos also and hubs has to work this weekend. I did check on my lettuce and strawberries though, they’re looking good. One of the flowers on a strawberry plant produced a tiny berry but it’s already turning pink. That’s more than I expected. I’m going to cut that off this weekend. Anyway, here’s the lettuce, I can’t wait to give it a try

If it is your inner ear, and you suffer from seasonal allergies, a daily Claritin might help. I've heard that chiropractors can help with vertigoHuh, I will remember that. Having a hot shower helped a lot actually.
I have been getting into the low 30s art night and have a bunch of tomatoes and peppers in the greenhouse as well as a tray of herbs. I put a space heater or there that automatically kicks on to keep it warmer at night. I set it to 55 I think. The digital thermometer still reads the lowest temp to get info the 30s, but is clear that the plants are not getting frost damage as long as I have the heater out there. It doesn't run nonstop either I think the thermometer is just reading the lowest temp from a breeze through the lower vents I have or something.DH is very brave. He potted up his hot peppers and put them in the greenhouse. I'm a little afraid to put my plants out there. They were started indoors (too early), are huge, and we have some cold night temps, yet.
Yesterday, I did put one of each variety of my plants in the greenhouse. Too chicken to put them all out there. I covered them at night, but there were only a few. What night-time temperature is safe for plants in a greenhouse? I really would like my house space back, now
