What did you do in the garden today?

Here's an artichoke update. Is it close to being ready to pick?

Afternoon all. It’s disgusting out, 108 but the real feel is at least 115. The heat has managed to kill two of my girls. One was in the coop this morning and the other was struggling yesterday. I brought her inside but she passed this afternoon. The whole crew is struggling with it, I feel so bad.

These tomatoes are nonstop LOL just picked another whole pocketful 🤣😭

And the yellow squash has like 8 more squash on it. And 3 zucchinis. And the pepper has like 6-10 growing all at once. The other pepper had two but I just picked one yesterday. The eggplant is slowly but surely growing lol only one on it for now but lots of flowers.

Everything is going ham LOL guess it’s just that time of year. 🤣🤔

A teeny baby loofa. Two others didn't get pollinated and will fall off. There are others waiting their turn. I'm really hoping I get one of some size to make sponges.

Today's picking of 'maters. I took some that aren't ripe yet to keep the blank-blank ground hog from sampling them.:duc

A coworked I really liked used to say that! "Sally, want me to go ham on labeling?"

Gee, I miss that kid! He's probably not a kid anymore. He might be almost 30...
That’s awesome!! We’re the same age then hahah I’m 29 😁
