I'm sorry you have the plague.
So many variables in who gets it and how bad.
It was the annoying just barely there two week headache that about drove me insane.

The enormous state recreation lake below me is fed by three deep, large creeks. They are now bone dry.
The 2.5 acre lake across the street is now totally gone.

So I think there's more to an individual's propensity to contract any illness than just simplification factors such as exposure or vaccines.

So many variables in who gets it and how bad.

I wish they would pay some attention to who gets Covid, and who gets it bad. And who is totally missed. What, if any, are the commonalities?

Along this topic... I had several jars of blackberry jelly from 2020 that never set up properly. It's all basically syrup. Someone told me previously to use it on ice cream but that will honestly never happen here. I will probably end up just dumping it....

Why don’t you use it IN ice cream? If you freeze some yogurt and add a bit of double cream or cream cheese and kind of swirl the syrup through it, it should make great tasting ice cream, or use as filling for jelly rolls?

I hope and pray that everyone that is ill or in the hospital gets better soon. I'm also hoping that all the wildfires get extinguished soon too. I haven't been to the garden today but maybe tomorrow morning.
