
I don't know why they just were not honest up front. It's great that charity is getting that rejected fruits and veggies, and it's great that the store gets a tax cut for lost revenue and donation.

I guess the next logical step would be to talk to the charity and ask them what they do with the food they reject from the rejected food they get from the store! I bet that would still be great chicken quality feed. If they won't give it away for someone to use, I hope they at least have a local composting pile for their rejected food.
