What did you do in the garden today?

I ordered Amethyst purple raspberries for the cabin. Zone 1 hardy should do ok in zone 3b.

Ummm I just got the seeds and such order. Everything I ordered is there, but the 2 packs of free seeds aren't .
I'm going to pretend they were something I didn't want anyway

Same. That's why I bought the new greenstalk. Except mine were veggie seeds

Seems silly to have them spend postage on something that was a gift. Last year they sent things I had or didn't want.

We're expecting an atmospheric river to move in. The rain fall will probably put me in panic mode. I don't like driving in the rain especially when it's windy and flooding is going to be a definite. I just hope my house stays together and it doesn't get inside

Thank you so much. I'm trying to stay positive so instead of thinking about the possibility of flooding I am trying to design my gardens.

I started to get mosquito bites after a month long off and on raining. I have to clean my Dyna mosquito traps and replace the UV light and bait, but I am going to let the neighbors suffer a bit before doing my maintenance.

I have not grown out older onion seed but have grown carrot seed that was 12 years old. They were stored in the refrigerator so not exposed to big temperature swings. Most of it germinated and grew just fine.

I would definitely plant them. Nothing to loose. If they sprout with bare spots, add a few more seed.

Sadly these were stored in a storage shed that was not temperature controlled... It is highly unlikely that they will sprout but maybe I'll get lucky. I'm not losing anything to try...

I sowed them tonight in a little 6-pack container and I've got them under lights.
