What did you do in the garden today?

Something about sowing seed in spring. It makes me happy so each year when I start planting I say just a couple more till I really have too many again. Those seeds make me loose self control.

Something about planting seeds that gives one hope for the future! When I plant seeds, I tend to go waaaaay overboard, and one of two things happens:

1) Where, oh where! will I put all these plants?
2) A bunch of them do not sprout, or die before they're hardened off and ready to go in the garden, and I'm very thankful that I planted so many, because now I have enough.

Good morning all, well I think I went over board with my seed order, yeah I shouldn't say such things LOL.
I ordered from three different and have two's & threes of some seeds. Went thru and set my calendar for seed start dates, need to get my mix ready and bake a sifter

I ordered Amethyst purple raspberries for the cabin. Zone 1 hardy should do ok in zone 3b.

I'm going to pretend they were something I didn't want anyway

Same. That's why I bought the new greenstalk. Except mine were veggie seeds

Seems silly to have them spend postage on something that was a gift. Last year they sent things I had or didn't want.

We're expecting an atmospheric river to move in. The rain fall will probably put me in panic mode. I don't like driving in the rain especially when it's windy and flooding is going to be a definite. I just hope my house stays together and it doesn't get inside
