I bought jewel berries. I initially thought I wanted everbearing strawberries, but since I plan to freezedry much of them, June bearing will work. The shipping is pretty crazy! But, I'm excited. Thanks, Sueby!I've ordered twice from Nourse & every single plant has lived. They do sell out quickly though so don't wait! Good luck, lmk what you get!

I can try that but I have cardboard laid down to keep weeds suppressed. I think that the crickets are living under the cardboard. I think they'd still get to the plant by crawling under the cardboard to the base of the plant.Drop a piece of floating row cover over them???
Something is also chewing on my Pak choy plants, but I don't see any insects by the hole.Something is chewing on my broccoli and cauliflower starts. I'm betting crickets. They are inside the hoop house which keeps out most pests.![]()

Yesterday I had a big burn-off in the fire pit, hoping to do another burn today but the wind has really picked up.
Thank you! I wasn't aware butternut squash (we call them pumpkins here) came in several varieties, so found out it is aThat looks like butternut squash
