I had the same thing happen yesterday morning! They forecasted the low to be 41°, and when I got up and looked at the thermometer, it said 36° and there was frost on the top of my truck. So, I sprinted around watering all my plants. I didn't see any frost on any plants, but was still terrified I was going to lose everything! Everything survived, thank goodness! I don't know what I would have done if my tomato and pepper plants had been killed... I pray your plants survive!Looked out the window at the chicken run to see a light layer of frost on the roofthe garden is right next to it and I didn't cover last night due to the weather person saying we will be 10 degrees warmer than the night before.

I'm growing every thing on trellises so hopefully that will help with the squash bug & cucumber beetles. I have too much growing to hand pollinate it all, if my parthenocarpic cukes came up I would have covered them. But oh well, we'll see how it goes.
