What did you do in the garden today?

It's too hot to do anything outside in the garden. The only thing I have out in my garden are 4 Black Giant Winter Melon vines producing an occasional 40lbs winter melon. I can't eat anymore and started giving them away. I am at the point where I will cut the vines by the root to stop production.

I absolutely agree with you. China is NOT the only government that monitors everything we do.
There are eyes in the skies monitoring what EVERYONE is doing! It's really crazy. Governments are always in competition. Then of course there's Google & our own government 🙄 always trying to see what it's own citizens are doing. They've already been down on small dairy farms & lately our backyard chickens. Crazy stuff indeed.

I'm not surprised. Tic Toc is another one. You know, just about Everyone has a smart phone these days. All they're doing is utilizing them to get to the people. Imagine every phone suddenly going off, a certain tone or frequency, then subliminal suggestions, mind control. Who knows what they're planning, but ya know it isn't good.

Is it possible to have sterile corn? 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’m sorry.
Ours last year were inedible.
Our ears are forming but waiting to see if we can eat them.
What kind are they?
Mine is Stowel evergreen.

I may have also planted too close together. Would it change anything if I thinned them? Cut them at the base or tried to pull some? I've never had corn not make ears at all. They're 7+ft tall now, perfect color leaves, fertilized on time and watered correctly.

I can't find anything on the Google machine about thinning late triggering other stalks grow ears... Ugh.

I feel you with the corn. Last year I had huge tall stalks and the corn was a no go. I keep telling myself to get up and go gather some eucalyptus debris. I planted my garden in the house we lived in before here and there were too many trees to count. I planted my corn and ate corn on the cob for months and I had to call my mom and ask her if she needed more corn she oh God no baby we're in the same boat you're in we don't have any room in our freezer.
