Hot and muggy today. Most of my gardening activities consisted of watering things.

I gave the garden a good watering this morning. My 2 cauliflower plants should've have been planted as a fall crop because they just can't tolerate heat as low as in the low 80s.

It's 114 here. I am inside under the AC. Went out long enough to get the mail and eggs and bring the trash can in ad and I let the water hose run through the run for the girls to cool off. Still gotta go out and get water on the ground for Bella.

We had a heavy down pour that lasted about 15 minutes or so. I'll have to look in the bucket to see how much we got.

I really need to dig out the chicken run. The compost is so deep, I have to duck under the cross piece for the tent frame roof. They're saying it'll be in the mid-upper 70s tomorrow, so that could be a good project.
