What did you do in the garden today?

Good morning gardeners. Still sprinkling outside. No plans for garden work today. I’m almost done preparing the garage for the stove pellet delivery. I uncovered the last pallet and realized I have 11 bags of pellets left. I checked with the vendor and they will be happy to move that pallet out of the way so they can place the full pallets tomorrow morning. That saves me from having to move those bags twice. That’s 440 pounds of pellets. I would like to check on my zucchini plant and see if the latest squash is ready for picking. One of my okra plants has 2 blossoms on it. Yay! Today is laundry and bread making. I’m jealous of your potato harvest @Acre4Me. Mine is not so abundant, however I recently read an article saying that a potato patch needs 3 to 4 years between planting them. I’ve only been waiting a year planting peas or beans in their place. So I guess I need to stretch mine out another year or two. I do like that you can your potatoes. Grocery store potatoes do not last long. When the fresh potatoes hit the market in September I’m thinking of buying and freezing as much as I can.

I once bought some blueberry yogurt instead of plain by mistake. Both labels are a blue color, and I didn't read it. I needed the plain as the starter to make my own.

I figured I could just scrape the yogurt off the top, since it was "fruit on the bottom" but when I read the ingredients, there were NO live cultures! It was milk, sugar, fruit, and gelatin! That is NOT yogurt!
That’s why I only bought greek yogurt and still read the label.

Yeah, the mistake was totally mine. I was in a hurry and just grabbed the cup with the blue label, as the plain greek yogurt has a blue label. I'm just amazed that they can sell "yogurt" that doesn't actually contain yogurt.

But, they can also sell honey that is up to 10% something else, and call it "pure honey."

That's horrible.
Need tags with address on...but I guess they wouldn't look at those if they couldn't knock.

This is the state of Illinois, have to play for everything
Did not have to pay. I have had 3 tags but she looses them. Being a beagle she likes to hunt rabbits and looses tags. She was not in the fenced part of the yard. She gets depressed if I don't let her chase rabbits once in awhile.

Yes I had a dog that kept losing tags. I had an embroidered collar with phone number, which did fade. I don't remember where I got it but Chewy and Amazon sells them. Also Etsy.

I’m pretty sure I over did it yesterday (weeding, raking plus work) as I slept in and did nothing in garden other than take mental notes of what I need to do. I did take a pic of this butternut squash next to my gourds. Think some cross pollination is going on!
