What did you do in the garden today?

Well... The poultry wound spray DID NOT work for me as a mosquito spray... 😔 I doused myself TWICE to no avail. I was getting eaten alive so badly that I only lightly watered half the garden. Had to wash after coming back inside because I was so slimy and sticky from the spray. Started counting mosquito welts and quit after 20... 😫
Wow, it works for me. Bizarre. So sorry it did not work for you. 😞

Hmmm, makes me wonder...why are some folks more appetizing than others when it comes to mosquitoes?
Blood type...D for Delicious 😋?

It's a hot wire attachment that detects foil contact with the opponent for scoring.
When they touch each other the circuit is completed. Bzzzzt on the scoring machine.
Was going to guess...It sounds like if somebody loses their temper or gets too crazy, they can yank & pull the culprit off of the victim, like it's a leash. 😆 🤣 😂

planted some seeds and now I don't remember what I planted. It's definitely some kind of squash. It is white and shaped like a spaghetti squash. I've tried looking it up but am not getting anywhere. The spaghetti squash I grew last year was a pale yellow and turned more yellow when it ripened. I'll try to post a picture from my phone.
Karen, so good to hear from you!!

Can you post a picture of this when you get it?

I've "super drained" some of my yogurt to almost the point of a cream cheese. I use mesh bags like you'd store produce in. The worst part of making yogurt is washing those darn bags. :lau
DH said why don't I just use them as laundry bags, toss my bras in them & do laundry. All will come out clean. Ez peazy. Yeah, right!!! He can be gross at times. 😝

That’s ridiculous. I can’t believe they actually came on your property and took the dog. I guess you can’t fix crazy.
Sounds lawsuit worthy, hit 'em in the wallet for your stress, emotional turmoil & aggravation.

I often think of having a human motion detector that says loudly, "Git offa this property!" in a Yosemite Sam voice, followed by sounds of gunshots. Wonder if they'd skedaddle then? 🤔

So far behind, how does that happen? Been so busy I don't even know what day of the week it is. Garden is doing great, squash plants are humongous. One of my tomato plants looked like it had some blight, I trimmed off the dead & spotty areas & was careful not to water much, don't spray leaves. Sometimes that can work if the issue was initially much watering. So far so good. We've been getting Rain at times but it missed us again last night. 45 min west of us got downpours.

I've been picking those darn bagworms off, by the time I get done work & critter chores it's nearly dark, but I pick about 50 worms by the light of my phone. I guess a lot of them drop off or get knocked off, I don't know, but they fall down, hit the ground and then have to climb back up. So if I go out there and look at the lower parts of the trees every day, I will find more bagworms within reach. They're really attacking the evergreen trees. These trees have gotten so high and I'm only 5 feet tall. So there are many beyond my reach. I've gotten a ladder to pick quite a few, but if they're above that, all I can do is curse them and shake my fist. It ticks me off... Dad and I planted these trees together before he passed, so they've got sentimental value.
