What did you do in the garden today?

There’s still more carrots in the ground. 3 pounds of carrots for me plus yummy greens and some leftovers for the old hens.

Shoulder is doing great. 25 outside that is the high for today. Slowly falling temps and lows in the teens for several days. Should see some sun. Monday I have the implant to monitor my heart. Was supposed to have been done this past Monday. Insurance had questions for the DR.

I hope all goes well @jerryse. We got close to another inch of rain yesterday. The temperature will be dropping to the low 20’s overnight so I’ll be picking the salad greens and the remaining carrots this morning. Today DD is driving us all to Boston to see the Nutcracker ballet. It will be a long day but the show is spectacular. Have a great day all.

Glad the shoulder is great :wee
Flurries here.
Silly insurance, good they figured it out.

I am happy my DH is Home !
That's great Penny, so happy to hear that.

We got quite a bit of rain yesterday.

One of my favorite things about the GreenStalks is my ability to grow lettuce/spinach into Dec under a frost cover. It's supposed to be in the teens every night so we'll see how they hold up.

My carrots aren't quite ready to pull, don't know why they're taking so long, they've been in for over 90 days. I'm not sure how much longer they can hang on with the cold coming. They are also under a frost cover, but no lights.

not sure about your zone but in zone 7b carrots can overwinter without any problem.
