What did you do in the garden today?

Curious if anyone has tried or been successful in germination of seeds from store bought easy peel mandarin oranges?

I pick a few cherry types every time I walk by and pop in my mouth I planted those on the way to the coops the poultry get the lowest but I get enough for my snacking.

Baker Creek was giving away spoon tomato seeds last year. I gave mine away because I don't eat enough tiny tomatoes to justify growing them.

Our snowfall impacts being predicted for tomorrow afternoon. I'm in the orange (6" to 7") band. My daughter is in the red section. Everyone in my household is gleefully looking forward to a snow day for the next 2 days. Not me... I work from home so it's business as usual. Ho hum...

yea, thats where i got mine! They were free. i adored that plant. it grew SO big like a bush! Just a lovely plant that I got to give to others too. Big hit with my gardener friends i shared with. I’m gonna grow more along the wood line for the little finchs that like to hide in them.

the tiny currant tomatoes?
I grew those two years ago. They were cute but a royal PIA to pick. Took too long. Chickens loved them though.

My chickens are not terribly fond of tomatoes... At least not the normal sized ones. They didn't really eat grape tomatoes either...
