What did you do in the garden today?

Honey bees will forage up to a 2.5-3 mile radius. So maybe there are other plums in the area close enough.

I was thinking that, ,,there is a VERY old orchard down close to the Hood Canal. It have a LOT of ole apple, pear, fig, plum

I store boxes of canning jars on some shelves in my garage. These are brand new, unused jars so they have the lids on them.

I was in the garage spraying some birdhouse gourds with outdoor enamel when I started hearing the lids popping on the canning jars.

This storm that's arriving in a few hours is going to be a doozy! I pray anyone else in it's path stays safe.

just got back from town - forgot my wallet so had to come back home but the PRICE OF CHICKS.
They had 15 of 25 sold, rest were Cornish meat....
but they were 11.99 a CHICK! OMG! Just brahmas, nothing fancy or earth shattering!

Memo to myself: if for some reason the HOA abolishes their bans on birds and livestock and I magically acquire the time and facilities to get chickens in the next six months…find a farmstand selling eggs whose owners have a rooster and just buy a dozen eggs to hatch.
