What did you do in the garden today?

I use a string and not tape. You could plant Jack-o-lantern C pepo, Dickinson C moschata, Dills Atlantic Giant C Maxima, and Johnathan C Mixta and none would cross. All considered pumpkin.

Took the covers off of my peppers, weeded the peppers and cucumbers.
Something put holes into all of my radishes. I've never had that happen before.
Anyone have a tool they can recommend to weed in between rows of sweet corn? I don't want to damage corn roots.

I have a weed spinner that is helpful in tight spaces. It is time consuming but it works on pulling individual weeds. I’ve used it on my asparagus bed. I catch the leaves or stems with the prongs and twist the weed enough to gently pull it out of the dirt without damaging the roots of the asparagus.

These plants came from a mixed flower bag.
Anyone know what the tall ones are? My phone keeps saying “dill”. It’s definitely NOT dill.

Got the garden all watered and picked half of the leaf lettuce, some kale, collards and cabbage leaf for salads this weekend. Getting ready to plant tomatoes now.

We are dry getting hot today.
I weeded more yesterday in the garden area early.
Pull weeds make a pile throw it to the chickens.
We both win.
