What did you do in the garden today?

I don't know about the planet but I have the greatest mail lady here! She even brings my dog treats every time she has to bring a package down
Lucky you. I have had mail lost, usually a financial document of some sort, multiple times with no actual accountability from the USPS. Trust them with your valuable mail, pay them to be a mail ‘fiduciary’ as it were, have them lose it, AND be left holding the bag of consequences.

I've started filling out complaint forms at USPS.com. When a packaged or letter doesn't show up, I fill out the help request. A package and important letter were delivered on the 16th to a neighbor a half mile away, and he was out of town until the 27th, when he brought me my mail. I complained and even got an apology from the local postmaster.

Next day two important letters showed "delivered" in my informed delivery account. Didn't get them. A different neighbor got those, but he let me know and I got them the same day. So, I complained again.

We don't even have informed delivery here.
Our mail lady loathes getting out of the car. I even put up an extra large SHED for her to deliver packages in so she doesn't have to walk the extra 50 feet to the front door from the driveway. She B!tche$ about the shed being a pain. SERIOUSLY?! It's the size of a classic phone booth. She doesn't even have to bend over to open, deliver, or close the thing.
Impossible to make her happy.

We have problems frequently with our mail person claiming "they attempted delivery of a package but no one was home." Bullshizzle. I work from home and rarely ever leave in the daytime. They are just too lazy to drive up the driveway and actually get out of the car to deliver anything that doesn't fit in the mailbox. Once they were so lazy that they placed a computer monitor next to my mailbox at the end of the driveway IN THE RAIN. The product box was the mailing box so it was totally evident what it was... I'm super lucky that 1) it wasn't stolen, or 2) wasn't damaged in the rain. I actually called the Postermaster on that one and ripped them a new one.

I have one of those security slot mailboxes, cause you know, country theft. She doesn't like it either. She has to fold mail and it slows her down...I'm telling you.....nuts she drives me.

I have informed delivery and because of that I KNOW that bank statements have disappeared, never to reappear. I’ve had $3000.00 checks mis-delivered(fortunately I did get those back from the neighbor), I ‘ve had payments take nearly a month to reach the vendor almost to the point of late charges, and recently I have a $600.00 state estimated tax payment mailed on April 11th……check still has not posted. I have called and barked at supervisors, postal clerks and the like. All you get is the hands up palms facing you with a shrug. I actually called my senator to complain once. This crappy postal system has actually driven me to go online and paperless as much as possible…..
