What did you do in the garden today?

I know all about the cat. It's an outdoor cat, gets fed inside but loves to hunt in the area. I credit it with keeping the rodent population in check around my house/shop/chicken accommodations. I can handle a little cat poo/piss in the garden in exchange for its services.

A bullet would be overkill...
What Ive done with my neighborhood cat is lay chicken wire in my beds. I saw him peeing in my strawberry patch and was not happy. I have lots of old chicken wire that's bent or whatever, laid it in pieces all around the garden. He now never goes into it now( I see him pee in his own houses flower beds now) ..his owners tell me how he brings a dead mouse or baby bunny to their door all the time. I feel like he is worth his weight in gold after hearing how he helps with the mice.

good idea!

I don't know how to share online stuff either, so computer illiterate! I have been so sick for over a week, what I thought was a little cold starting went straight to my lungs and just couldn't breathe. You reminded me of the ivermectin I took during covid, so I broke that out. Whaddayaknow! Miracle stuff! I have the liquid pour on stuff, and put A 1/4 tsp in my black coffee in the morning. I can breathe again, my lungs are opening back up. Plan to use it every morning til I feel back to normal energy wise. Now for a trip down to the garden to see if anything survived while I was down.

Comfrey and wormwood plants are specialty plants, they are not available in majority of nursery here, only specialty nursery and even they only have it once in awhile, not a stock plants.

I read that they are great for chickens. It took me a long time to get these plants and comfrey like a delicate plants, often died off and I potted a few so I still have 2 in a pots.

Wormwood plant I had survived, but it does not do so well, seem to delicate, but on the internet these plants are all glory and enduring.

What did I do wrong? Thank you for any advice.
What variety of wormwood (artemisia, right?) did you plant? Silver Mound, the soft, round one that everyone wants in their garden, doesn't like to dry out, but has to be watered carefully. Water droplets act like magnifying glasses and burn the leaves. If you really want that type, water in the evening, when the sunlight isn't as direct or use a soaker hose under the foliage, so the leaves don't get wet.

I thank you for that offer, I don't have facebook, messenger or a cell phone. I live pretty much isolated compared to most people I guess. I have BYC and a couple of games on this tablet and that's about it. I do have a tv and a land line phone, but rarely use them either. The few times I might want to use them is during a power outage, and the darn things don't work then! Lol
