I am going to have to start freezing some we are getting more than we can eat. Not sure why I am still planning on growing 10+ varieties of tomatoes next year with at least 2 of each of the indeterminate and 3 of the determinate which I think I will have 3 or 4 of.

I have been wondering why my tomatoes are NOT ripening - seems that it's too hot for them to ripen. I have never heard of such a thing, but it's all the talk here and even in the News.

OH ya, it's totally a thing. They also don't set fruit in certain weather either, which is why/how you can have an area of nothing on every plant in the garden.

I'd say that's Red Russian kale, the only type I've grown. It produces well and can survive winter temps down into the teens. Good stuff!

Ripped up some old bush beans but am not sure what to replace them with. It’s mostly shaded so it limits me a lot

I do have a bunch of leaf lettuce seeds so I may have to do that. I already planted some radishes there but the lettuce shouldn’t compete with them much so I should be able to still plant it

one of my grow bags with beans has fully died back so I ripped them out and mixed some new soil in. I now have a 5 gallon grow bag with nothing in it and can’t decide what to put in it. One of the seeds I got today is a fast maturing bush cucumber so I was thinking that but I also got 2 types of fast maturing summer squash as well. I am thinking cucumber because I haven’t grown any this year and I have some zucchini plants already sprouting so I do have some summer squash. Maybe this is my sign that I need more grow bags
