What did you do in the garden today?

Finally picking tomatoes - got the first "Black Krim" off the vine. It will be a tomato sandwich by this afternoon. Picked some corn the other day, it has had a rough year with our high winds we have over and over. Still delicious 😋! got the best news- our son and his wife are expecting a baby girl! they want to name her ,"Merigold" that's what's growing in our family garden! Hahah

We filled holes (really wash out from month and half of rain), picked okra and Lima beans.
I bought these watermelon melon plants from Homedepot and I have 2 vines that are gourd shaped. The rest are normal. Do you think the plants that produced these cross pollinated w gourds or is that possible?
My morning glories are the prettiest this year.

I looked it up and it said it wasn’t possible but maybe it could be a cross pollination between 2 watermelon varieties and it caused the weird shape. one small variety and one bigger or something?

I have purple potatoes, sweet potatoes, a few tomatoes, and purple, green and red peppers in containers. Mint is everywhere.
I just harvested my third container of purple potatoes. The first was 21 with a few decent sized (jumbo egg) in it. We just finished eating those two days ago. The next was 22 with moderate sized harvested two weeks ago. Today I got 14 potatoes. They are making me very happy! Four or five are big enough to bake, and I had three vining with leaves and roots. They are planted, and should have time to produce before it gets too cold.
