What did you do in the garden today?

I thought.... I was going to have like 200 garlic plants.... I actually did the math, it's more like 600. I'm happy.

My fall seeds are already sprouting in the shed! Started seeds on Sunday. Saw sprouts yesterday morning.

Cucumbers are about done. Zuccihinni is still blooming. Cool weather slowed things a bit. Heat coming. Made more nut butter. Feet are bothering me. I wore my sketcher slip ins a few days while I washed my new balance shoes. My feet like the new balance better. I have had plantar facetious before. Tripped and fell outside. Ugh old age. I think I am done for the day.
I sympathize with you. On top of a boot on this broken foot last week, other knee is hurting. Can hardly get everything done with limited mobility. Also have to have my orthotics adjusted. I'm hard on them.
Getting old is not for sissies.

Anyone have an idea why this potato plant looks like this? It has been like this since it first popped up 2ish months ago and it seems healthy given its growth and hasn’t affected any of the other plants in the same pot so I don’t think it is a disease related thing. View attachment 4214497
Keep an eye on the discoloration. They can get blight or other tomato related diseases.

Picked the first ripe grapes yesterday, which is a huge win. In past years, the birds and raccoons got them. All safe, so far, with organza bags and an electric fence, and 2 cats. Thinking of bagging all my apples next season. Lots of worms in them and falling fruit now.
Still picking tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans. Have too much kale, and collard greens with no room in the freezer.
Going to need help canning, since my foot and knee are preventing me from doing a lot. Going up and down stairs is more difficult.
