What did you do in the garden today?

Here’s a question. When you compost your garden do you till it in or just spread it on top? I’ve done it both ways and am curious about what is considered the best way.🤔
I plan to just dump it on. from some videos I’ve seen no-till seems to be slightly better but it is pretty minimal of a difference. But it is also easier

I'm going to use a couple pounds of onions and shallots and some habanero peppers today making this spicy cranberry salsa recipe. I have three bags of cranberries in the freezer from the 2023 holiday season that I need to use for something.

6 cups chopped red onion
4 finely chopped large Serrano peppers*
1½ cups water
1½ cups cider vinegar (5%)
1 tablespoon canning salt
1 1/3 cups sugar
6 tablespoons clover honey
12 cups (2¾ pounds) rinsed, fresh whole cranberries

I got a dozen half pints of the spicy cranberry "salsa" processed and cooling on the countertop. I wouldn't call it a salsa, it's more like a sweet, savory jam. It was a good way to use those old frozen cranberries.

So, I should be planning to stop by when?
