I have successfully grown lettuce in a disposable cake pan so +1 it should be fine in a dorm, at least from a space perspective. Spinach too.I’m thinking lettuce and spinach could work pretty well in a dorm. My bunching onions have done well in shade so maybe those too
Not sure about some of those but lavender and milkweed will germinate better if they’ve been cold stratified, so if you can shove them in the fridge for a few weeks before you plant them that should help.I have marigolds, pansies, bachelor buttons, carnations, babies breath, forget me nots, zinnias, larkspur, lavender, sweet alyssums, petunias, milkweed, vincas, and a few more I can’t remember

Yeah I stratified both of them when I did it. I had good germination rates but they just didn’t last long.
