The Cuckoo Lady
My verbiage wasn't the best with that. I get in my own head a lot. I meant that it was the loudest I've heard since I was last in Oklahoma. The roll was here in Cali. Blanchard/Norman area though, that's where I'm from.Where in Oklahoma generally speaking? Is it a permanent move or a visit? My grumbling worked. About 6 hours after my above post we finally got some weather. I know this because one of my big fluffy puppers is frightened of thunder and he woke me with desperate scratching at my door to let him in to be cuddled and comforted.
Also, cute spiders. How do you keep them standing? Do you shove the ends into the ground or something?
And how's the leg healing? I'll bet it's at a very colorful stage.
For the legs, the big ones base ends I wrapped sections of rebar into them and stuck them in the ground. Tips of the legs, I wrapped in those crappy hollow metal, plastic covered tomato cage legs that you make into a triangle with clip on lateral arms. I snapped them into sections and stuck them in the ground.
My shins are still tender. I may still get an X-ray of one of them. The one where I could see the bone hurt worse before, now it's the other one that bruised half way around my calf. There's a very hard section that's raised under the skin that isn't getting smaller. Bruising is at the green stage. Almost two weeks in. I can't rest on my shins without pain still. But it's not agony. Can't be on my knees either. Walking normal though.
