What did you do in the garden today?

Driveway has been shoveled. Snow had settled a bit so not so deep. Cracking nuts and watching birds at the feeder.

I just put another nine eggs into the incubator. They should hatch out on December 20th.

I wish the ones where I live tried. Instead, they're nothing but a bunch of sensationalists hoping for another f5.

Ya, a LOT of broadcast ones are like that. TV news needs ratings = money= hyped up crap in all segments. TBH - we aren't a fan of them either. Where are you, generally?

4 inches on top of a crap ton of ice, and compaction ice, and then it all drifted, so sheets of crack ice bare and areas of 18 inches. So the new tractor and I got to know each other for about an hour. He did NOT like the ice, which is fine. I wasn't a fan of my new coat either, low visibility hood.
I just scraped down enough for DH to get out in the morning as we're getting more overnight and into the morning rush. Roads are a sheet of ice, which I LOATHE. I bet school here is a no go tomorrow. Too cold for brine and salts to work. Add in fresh 2 inches and wind at rush hour and that's a NOPE.
I'll plow again just before he gets home tomorrow. Let it finish snowing and blowing. I don't like the cold, it physically HURTS.
