Good to see you post about your rabbits. I am trying to learn rabbit color genetics to produce tricolor. So much different than chicken color genetics. I get such confusing answers. Everyone talks Allee letters but I feel they do not understand them very well.My calculations do not mach theirs. Litter due 2/15. I will then see the outcome.

I certainly did not expect them to throw white kits... I assume they are both carrying recessive genes that produced white fur and red eyes (albino).

I guess that means I should also assume the ones that are NOT albino are still carrying albino genes.

In a few weeks, I'll be picking up another little doe. She has a light Harlequin coloring. It'll be interesting to see if she also throws any kits with albino coloring.

I guess coloring ultimately won't matter for meat rabbits, but the red eyes have always creeped me out a little bit.

On my list for next month. I think this year I'm going to go the oiled sand storage route with my expensive hoe. I've already redone the handle as it tried to peel off the lacquer that the creator put on it.

I've only had problems with having multiple roos once. And it was creepy. Got rid of all of them.
Every other time I've kept two roos at once, no problems at all.
I'm currently down to one.
