Sooo... I'm bored

Nothing exciting. Did house cleaning yesterday watched fireworks. Too hot to mow grass right now. Chickens are fed and watered. I did groom the puppy. He is doing well with getting used to the clippers. He actually let me groom his muzzle without biting at the blades this time

Well I'm spending the morning on here, my hubby's watching the boy and I have no hobbies so it looks like I'll be on here til lunch and maybe this afternoon we'll go to the lake.

havn't done alot

I had to work yesterday, 1-7:30..and it was SO slow, we could actually sit around and talk and NOT get in trouble

then we watched fireworks at the sewer place LOL

then came home, and had a heck of a thing to deal with, apparently one of our turkies knocked down the fencing to the Juvy pen, so the ducks and chicks were all over the yard sleeping here and there, so finally took about 20ish minutes to get them all corralled, then had to wait ANOTHER 20ish minutes for the dumb butts to go back into the brooder room.


theeen today did my usual, got them Juvies out into the pen, fed,fed the rabbits, let momma hens and babies out, fed the ducks, fed the chickens, fed the cats, watered the dog. then it got cold and started raining

soooo, I'm bored too.

We actually have SUN today! And a nice cool breeze....this is my kind of weather!! Since I can finally get out for the first time in a month I am now weeding my gardens. Apperentely the weeds really liked the rainy, dreary weather we have been having, because I swear I have more weeds than veggie plants!!

Did the normal wake up and feed the birdies, let the ducks and chickens out

then came back down took the doggie out, watched Terms of Endearment (sp?) with hubby

then went back up to refresh everyones water and offered them shreaded spinach....

thennnnnn.... *thinks* went down town to get gas for the jeep took the doggie with us, then on the way home went to some milkweed patches along back roads near our house looking for monarch butterfly eggs, didn' find any so collected some black berries to snack on instead.... now back at home being bored...

I lifeguarded at our city pool today from noon to 6:30. I got reeaaaaaaaallly burnt on my face. Everywhere else is just tan

Grilled some N.Y. Strip steak, dodged rain clouds, weeded, cut back growing tips on melon vines, got rained on, went to the store with Lori, had some tile cut to the wrong size using Lori's measurements, hung a porch light, installed a new shower head, called the AC man for a blown compressor capacitor, talked to my son (who ticked me off), talked to my friend Hal (who listened to me rant about son), watched a good show on Forensic Files, slept late, planted some more squash seedlings, staked tomatoes, counted cucumbers and melons, fixed a garden hose, played with the dog, tossed out the cat, wrote a letter, Lit some firecrackers, BYC and EASY GARDEN posts....

Made breakfast (homemade biscuts and gravy) for my family, went to church, out to lunch, home for a nap, back to church, 10 min on here now my 1y.o. wants me to read the Nose Book.
