What did you do with your flock today?

Ugh, that sounds exhausting. :th I don’t blame you for feeling let down. Was she an actual pet sitter, or just someone that came to watch your animas for you?

I’ll be interested to see how much they weigh!
Well, believe it or not... she used to have chickens and said she was experienced with horses. She also worked at a animal sanctuary but I don't think that was because she was a bleeding heart. I think it was the only job she could get at the time. And close friend to someone in the family. I think she meant well and probably wanted to impress me but she was just a bit too cool for me.
I pet sit for my friends too. I show up and go through the notes with them and follow them to the T. Our "pets" are basically our babies and nothing to take lightly. Also, my horse is an expensive investment of time and money with training, gear etc, etc, etc, etc. I was not amused he may have a forever scar on his neck ruining his look because she "forgot" to put the topical that would have just healed him.
Oh gosh, there I go again. So sorry. But @kurby22, when you need that ear and understanding, I'm your gal lol.😆

I don’t know if that makes it better, or worse. No matter what, she should’ve listened to your instructions. It’s such an awful and expensive lesson to learn, I’m sorry you had to deal with it, but I hope it taught her to actually pay attention to instructions.

I finally got the chance to look through and edit the pics.
Watson, with her freakishly clean feet.

Sweet Beigie has never looked so good. She’s normally a mess, but it’s like she’s a brand new bird now. And her hair is so big! 😍

Puff Puff. She’s normally unpleasant to look at, but she’s getting better. Unfortunately for me, She didn’t get a new personality with the new feathers. : (

Yen. I’ve gotten a lot of good pictures of her in the past, but I think this one is my new favorite.

Os is my new favorite bird to photograph. She’s very photogenic, and she looks adorable in all of her pics.

Well yesterday we added an extension to our run! 🥳❤️🐔 it’s now 24x9 for our 19 hens. It used to be 9x9 smaller. So it took us about 4 hours and a couple frozen noses. 😂 I love it! 🤩
