Hope u aren't too sore and heal quickly!

Hello! This is a place to post pictures/talk about what you and your flock have done today.

I was on a zoom call earlier and Iris, my rooster, decided to stand behind me and crow repeatedly. Thankfully I was on mute, but it was still annoying. They couldn’t see him, but they could see me trying to make him quiet, which was a little embarrassing.
Here’s a pic of my boy with some mini roses.

What about you guys? Have you done anything interesting with your flock today?

Here are a few pictures of my birds.

Very pretty birds!!! Whenever I am outside on the phone my Ducks like to put their two cents in. If I am not holding the phone they are as quiet as can be. Funny how these creatures can be. lol

I live in the outskirts of a protected forest area. I drive through it getting back and forth to town. The park itself is beautiful and walking distance from me...but my house area itself isn't as beautiful. It used to be...lol. Back when it was all ranches here. Now the properties are getting smaller and smaller and lots of new subdivision construction all around here. We have stoplights out here now!

Happy to hear Beigies mending well. She's so lucky you caught it in time and thought fast. ❤️ Fergie is adorable 😍 I absolutely love your Sonny training! I'm curious if I can train Heneviere to do that since she already likes to sit on me. It looks like fun!
Thank you!
If Heneviere (I love her name!) already flies up, it should be pretty easy. I started out by just calling Sonny’s name and patting my arm, and then I eventually just needed to pat my arm. She responds a lot quicker now that I snap, so I think having a fairly loud—but not obnoxious—cue that you don’t use often is the key.
Do you use treats to train em with or luvins or what?
Mostly just hugs. She’s gotten snacks a few times for doing it, and while she’s grateful, she mostly just flies up to be held. XD

Thanks! Aww, your ducks sound great. <3

Beigie has been deemed well enough to spend the last two days out on the deck. I’m still not comfortable moving her fully outside while he has open wounds, but everything seems to be healing up pretty nicely.

Today I snatched Molly up to hang out with her. It was only then that I realized none of the other birds had seen her since Wednesday morning, and assumed she died, lol. Poor Molly looked terrified when I put her in, and was a little sketchy for a few hours before she accepted her “fate.” Beigie was really happy to have company, and Molly was pretty content to eat Beige’s snacks. XD

I think one of the funniest parts of this, is that Beigie is currently my oldest bird. So as far as anyone else knows, she’s just been around since the beginning of time. Everyone is going to worship her after she gets reintegrated, lol.

@Luv Ducks that sounds adorable!

@Gammas Bearded Babies congrats on the sale!

@FrankieDoodle I'm gonna have to try it... Henevieres a special little lady already, but I've always just waited for her to come jump on me...lol.
Beigies looking good!

I'm more then half asleep already tonight...it was a long, busy but good day. Hope everyone's night is sweet and peaceful!

Thank you!

You are most welcome and I love your Chickens!!!! That is great that you have been able to train them so well. It's amazing how really smart these birds are.
