BAG TUTORIAL 1
1) Choose bag and decide where to cut. Keep in mind you will visually loose folded bottom and sides
For lack of sewing table etc. I use my butcher block table, level for a straight edge and a rotary cutter. Works great.
At this time I also cut myself a 3" wide strip, width of bag for my handles. Set aside.
Turn your bag inside out and wipe clean.
I need to put a few pins in the bottom at this point to keep it from slipping as I sew. I sew 2 lines about 1/2 inch and the other 5/8ths from bottom edge. After you are done sewing the bottom mark the top edge (where you will fold and sew. I use my level for convenience. Before I sew top I find it easier to mark and sew corners after marking top.
