No, need to find homes for. #1 is pretty friendly. #2 I am going to have to socialize, it is younger than when I found #1 so has a good chance too I hope. Signed up to be a humane society foster parent today. That way they will do the medical and even feed I think. I just care for and play and love till they find them homes.

Morning gang!
I hope you are all well on this day of reflection may your hearts be filled with peace and hope.

# 6, the last BB chick hatched this morning!

DH has done well with sneaking in the dry puffy chics in with the mom at night. He said by the time she got #5 intro'd she lifter her chest to him so he could drop baby into her snuggle zone. Pretty cool. Well, 8 days difference. We will see how # 6 intros.

DH is picking up materials for my new chicken apartment coop. I'm excited, he is a good meticulous carpenter and I hope it is an improvement on my loved apartment coop build.
When he is pau, I will move me and the mountain flock back down for the fall etc. Hopefully I will be back up Koke'e for next summer. Even with the up and down because of MIL (bless her heart ♡) I still really enjoyed my time and the mental health reboot.

Forest did FABULOUS with his appointment. He walked into the carrier, then I closed it. No meowing on the mountain ride or at the kitty fix fest. Just a few meows on our way back up for Kokee R&R. He was super grateful to be home and I had to go to bed early so he would settle I instead of play after his surgery. Up @ 3am but all snuggles and purrs. No time to work with the new kitten. Hopefully Monday on will be our time.

Sounds like you are keeping busy Tropical! My mom has had about 15 feral cats the past 5 years that she slowly and methodically catches and gets fixed. She had a neighbor that let his cat philander about constantly and then they moved in the dead of night and left him and two pregnant momma cats behind I think it’s great that you are doing what you can! She got most all of them adopted except the adult kitties and now feeds and cares for them as well as all her indoor kitties!

We are finally under 100 outside and I’m SO happy!! And so are the chickens and quail So since it wasn’t miserable out, I did a chick photo shoot to catch some of them at 10 weeks and they’re growing up so pretty so sorry for all the pictures but I wanted to share :-D
