Well, we put a hold deposit on the kitten. OMG I’m so excited but nervous! It’s hard for me to trust people on Craigslist! She said she would keep her till closer to Christmas…we gave her a non refundable deposit to hold her and I know where she lives haha. Now to get all the things!

I also just got back from the vet. I made the choice to put Brad down and I am really really sad. She was such a good chicken momma to her pack of bantam cochins. RIP Brad, you will be missed and you were loved oh so very much.

Ugh, I’m having the worst chicken week ever :-( I went to put the chickens in for the night and found Ms. Pretty lying in the run and she looked dead. :-( I ran over to her and her face was all red and sort of swollen on the side with the initial lump. I’m thinking some of the chickens pecked at her once she was looking dead and not moving? :-( She seemed ok this morning and ran around eating treats. I don’t know what went wrong but she’s in my lap and barely alive :-( I gave her some Nutridrench and put antiseptic on the red part of her face. She’s still alive but she’s in a very bad way.

Thanks. Me too. Learning I have two more roosters Monday, losing Brad yesterday and finding Ms Pretty today…feels like the universe is trying to tell me something I’m so sad…I don’t expect her to make it thru the night…
