Morning! Same for me…slow morning here!
Me too but second cup gone

Happy Saturday all. Has been another sad day, Ms. Pretty left this world this morning for good. I hope this was the last tough day for awhile, as I am not sure I could take much more!
But I also had a very exciting afternoon! My first big chicken egg! I have no clue who laid it though
Based on color it could be a Cochin or Orpington egg…and I have 3 Orps and 3 Cochin mixes!
And just for you @TropicalBabies i included some kitten pics!
I can’t wait to have her home! I’ve been thinking about you and hoping you’re getting lots of support from your fur babies and DH

Yes, fur babies are wonderful. They all have been very supportive and I have welcomed it. Also, distracting myself with a few PMs on byc has been wonderful.
They take her off of oxygen tomorrow.

I’m always so grateful for animals to love on when I’m sad! I’m so very sorry for you and your family. I have lost my Dad when I was 22 and my younger sister when I was 34…so I know there are no words that can really be said that are truly comforting other than we are here for you when you need a pick me up or a place to vent or share. I will share all the kitty pics once she’s home with us! Such a hard secret to keep from the kids!! We have tentatively named her Miyuki—Miyu for short, which means snow in Japanese
