What did you do with your flock today?

Your shop looks like our garage. I kept saying all summer that during thebcold of winter (when spiders would be far less of a problem) that I would empty the garage and organize it. But one thing after another happened to every weekend. I hope you have better luck than I've had getting your mission accomplished

Yeah, life happens for sure. I'm really hopeful we can get this one going. My DH deserves to have a great shop and I want to help him with that. He really seems disorgaized and that surprises me because he is a pretty clean and particular guy. But there is no station or rhyme or reason and I think it is really important.
Case in point, I just spent another $17 on sandpaper for my belt sander when I was in town. I was sure we had ordered some on amazon... well, found 2 new and unused sets of paper when i got home. That is the norm and it drives me nuts.

This happens to me too with my husband! That’s why he has 4 power drills I’ve been on him for 6 YEARS to organize his tools and the garage and he just doesn’t want to! We now have a shed and it’s still mostly empty because he won’t take the initiative on it either! Sighhh. Some day when I have energy I will just start doing it myself and he will have to jump aboard and deal with it being my way

Wow YOU'VE been super busy! I'm really glad you both got a chance to visit with friends you love. Travelling can be hard on kids and tears are usually just they're way of venting stress, both good and bad. I'd be just as torn as you if/when I ever rehome any of my birds, but the boy does sound like he'll take good care of them. I'm excited to see your NEW babies! And glad you found a way to make your DH less unhappy about it all.

Yeah, it’s been fun but I’m rather tired already and I haven’t even done a whole lot The drive is super exhausting! Especially when riding with a child that NEVER. STOPS. TALKING Girlfriend time for me is essential to my mental health, especially the good friends that I don’t have to be anything but me…warts and all.

My husband is really pretty great at letting me do my things…he’s not thrilled and thinks I’m ridiculous but he knows it makes me happy and I love him for it! I will share pictures for sure, I can’t wait! My eggs that are cooking are looking good so far too! Since I’m gone on vacation it’s kept me from candling too much haha…I’m a terrible egg incubator because I want to see the eggs all the time So I’m looking forward to tomorrow night when I can candle them and see which ones are empty.
