What did you do with your flock today?

My hens turned 20 weeks last week and today we got our first egg from one of my eggers.

K. Still laughing at Molly 🤭🤭🤭. Sorry..

Brahma's are notoriously slow to mature as you know and stump us all. It is still early for you, I usually have no degree of confidence till at least 2.5 months and many times as you know I am still guessing till they almost crow. Manono I could have sworn was a boy for months till he was not. Blotchy, clumpy feathers and big feet but best by comparison to other same birds.
Check and compare the feet as that is less likely to fool you. If they are big clopping yellow legs then you would have 2 indications that you may have a boy. Then the standard comb and wattles and saddle feathers. They just take longer ☹. But. IMO. Brahmas are a very fine rooster to have. So if you have bad luck maybe you can keep him as he will be good and have a low crow. ♡♡

K. This is the best example I can give you and I don't even know forsure but...

These are older than yours by a week ?
Stub tail, short wings, first in my face, big yellow legs but I don't see major flags on these feet yet. Brahma boys have monster feet. This is also a mix. Maybe only 1/4 dark Brahma. So... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Geegee and the dorks say 'hi!'

See how nice and long Geegees tail is? 😍🤞
Another thing I read from a fellow bycer and found pretty spot on so far -even though she said was not 100% on Brahma- is the comb. Boys will have 3 rows on their pea comb where girls will have one. You may have to give another few weeks to test this theory. Keep us posted with photos 😉💕
