Happy Monday all! My goodness @kurby you are such a flockmaster. Amazing to watch your juggle.
Curious what you are vaxxing and where you purchase from. Please do tell. ♡
Right on @PJ! Looking forward to seeing your updates. Sorry about the winds 😖 hope they settle soon.

I am defrosting and cleaning out my fridge. :thyippee? Going to make snacks out of unwanted fish and shrimps. That is all I am doing with my flock today but I think they will be ok.
I know, I don’t know what I’d do without my husband! He helps a LOT and I made things worse by adding a volleyball camp for Aria the next 5 weeks on Tuesdays. :barnie

I got a bit worried that Honey wasn’t finding the food in her new coop with the bantys, and she also misses out on scratch time because she can’t really see it on the ground. So I tried something with her and she was SO happy! 😍

The new babies seem to be settling into their new home with the broody hens but still having some anxiety about the hens being “mean” 😆

I sat with the big kids for awhile this morning, was nice to hang with them. They like me haha. I love all my little bantams but I didn’t raise any by hand and you can tell! They’re all sweet but very people shy. Millie the d’Uccle is the only one that will fly up and visit me on occasion. I’m looking forward to the baby porcelain d’Uccles being much friendlier! :) I handle them at least once a day for about an hour while watching shows at night :-D I’m also thinking they might both be girls. Supposedly d’Uccles are pretty early comb developers and by 4 weeks it’s generally easy to tell. They are 4 weeks tomorrow! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hey gang!
Took down my blind this morning, moved my cold compost (bug galore!) I kept the big chickens out and let the littles have their fill and then let big people in.

After they had their fill I cleaned up and started my trellis for the Dragon Fruit and Loofah to grow up to shade the coop. I'm pretty excited about this one. I was going to lean-to style but had a design change already. Should be done by tomorrow so will update.

Went up the mountain to grab more mulch and the seeds that I forgot up there.
After all of those compost bugs they still managed to beg for snacks before moi moi.

Look at all those pretty chickens!! I don’t know why but I think my chickens are broken 😆 They have little to no interest in bugs! We have bugs galore and they hide from them or ignore them! Little butts! I thought sure they’d like the bugs around our yard. Ha! Spoiled weirdos 😆

The babies moved themselves into the Santa’s coop tonight. I have a very specific order when it comes to locking the coops up, so imagine my surprise when I found two extra birds in coop #3. XD
It took me off guard and completely threw everything off. They’ve been eyeballing the Santa’s coop since their first few visits outside, but they’ve been increasingly curious now that they actually have access, so it was only a matter of time.

They seem to get along pretty well. I’ve only ever seen them fight twice, once with each baby. Both times it was one of the babies starting drama with the big girls, and the big girls giving them a warning peck that sent them running. Both SFs love the babies, so I’m hoping there won’t be any issues when they get up tomorrow. :fl
