She’s an Easter egger! They’re a great breed. I just picked up more EE chicks a few days ago. : D I’d love to see pics of your girl!

Most EEs lay green/blue eggs. It’s one of their many perks. : P

My chicks are about ready to go outside. Been hardening them off for few weeks now.

Though I stuck a new hen with my older birds and 3 of them stopped laying and it's been about week. Guess I stressed them out. Hoping the start laying again soon.

Then one hen who's a year old hasn't even laid an egg. Hope I didn't get one of those hens that never lay.

Tomorrow should have my last batch of chicks hatch. There is movement!

We put ours outside, worked on the coop, then chased them around to put them away. Our SLWs hate us and so does the Whiting true blue.... They are the hardest to catch and sure we're going to kill them.

Co-ops almost done though so hopefully this weekend they will be out of my garage!!!

Gorgeous photos and congrats on the up and comings. I'm a suckered for those Grey's too @kurby. You are a hatching mad woman ♡♡♡

In my world my husband said I need to keep the grandkids favorite chicks lol. I'm actually going to keep at least 3 as I think Cheepie is a boy so I want to keep a lookalike little girl chick to switch out when the time is right... and then there is the Cornish cross x Buff brahmas... thinking I may grow them out. I need an intervention.

Beetle is 100%. The sticktight fleas never came back thank goodness. I still like him a lot.
My morning is a juggle of who goes where. The teens do the least damage in the yard and strangely enough the main crew has been fine with 1-2 hours in the morn and 3-4 in the eve.

So many beautiful chickens!! My little bantam buff Brahma is just the most mellow girl. We love her! Her name is Ruby She was trying to help me warm up a lonely baby quail…sadly it didn’t make it. :-(

We had more of my chicken babies hatch yesterday night. These babies are just the softest little fluff balls. I’m obsessed

Speaking of which, I notice I have a lot of neighbors with chickens now and even though I have only sold to a few I would like to think I was seni responsible with my pre pandemic feathered yard art. We made it look easy
