What did you do with your flock today?

The baby pigeons are able to fly and eat by themselves now. Frittata hasn’t made it to the shelves yet, but she’s been bouncing around the perches and bath. Big Bird was able to get to the top shelves. ❤️

The baby chicks are about 3 1/2wo now. They’re already doing day trips outside. Normally I like to wait a little longer, but it’s been fairly warm and they’re way too active. I’ve broken a few too many birds by letting them rile in the brooder.

They’re getting so big already. I’m pretty sure Feathers is a boy, so I’m bummed about that. He’s been showing all the typical cockerel signs, like being the only one to bite me, a slightly bigger and slightly more tinted comb than the other two, slow to feather in, barred. I’m hoping I’m wrong, especially since the rest of my family still thinks he’s a girl, but I’ve had really good luck so far and I know it’s about time it runs out. : (

I’m so excited to see Fergie when she’s fully feathered. The pictures don’t do her justice, she’s already so pretty. ❤️

His comb isn’t as vibrant in person, but it does have a little bit of color already. : (

And then a few random pictures I got (mostly plants from a park I just went to) while practicing a new photography technique someone mention.

The pigeons are much more adorable now! 😆 Love the plant pictures! 😍😍

Aloha kakahiaka gang! Just another morning at the estate- chickens waiting for snacks.

Probably time to take our flag down lol. On it!

Fabulous photos @FrankD absolutely stunning!
I was just thumbing through photos of the week. You need to enter ♡.

3 day weekend what a blur, and not because of partaking in anything but chores. We had to go up the mountain and cut and haul a few big branches that came down. The surf has been pretty loud and keeping me up a bit. Big swell. What ever the reasons I'm feeling extra tired today. Waiting on my Joe ☕ was fun to see such lively posts. Thank you all ♡
So, got some laundry and feed shuffling to do today. The weather is gorgeous.

I am almost ready to call 4 pullets but afraid I will jinx it. Think I will wait till they lay an egg to be totally comfortable with my good fortune.

Grandkids cicks are the worst chicks. Probably too much chaotic handling at the beginning of their lives, maybe because there is only 2 now... very flighty and fearful even after 100 mealworms. I do have more hope for the black one. Well, they had better get used to me... we are lifers.
K. Better get after my stuff. Thanks for the morning smile gang. Hope today is a good one for all ♡

Thank you!! I’ll have to see what I have in landscape mode. I think most of mine are portrait.

All of your birds are so pretty! I especially love the one in pic #3 and the first grandkid chick. 😍

That is Gracie aka Geegee. Isn't she lovely? I'm such a sucker for those cheeks. ♡

Getting full use out of the kids' play set/house that I've converted :)
I think converted play houses are awesome! Obviously from your name the kid is good with converting the playhouse lol. Photos would be great if you would 🤙

The color of your babies is just stunning Frankie♡
