@FBMcrazy8 yeah, some years I thought we did pretty well. We had fun or I did then it eventually became exhausting. Halloween is not my favorite holiday but I'd like to revisit the joy. My decorations are deep in storage, no kids or grandkids, very few trick or treaters come down our street... so the whole "holiday" is easy to bypass. Well, hoping all of that changes this year when I do THE BIG SHOP CLEAN (that reads with a big booming voice in your head).
Today I have to take Cody's poop sample to Kilauea -Ya know, the other side of isle - I also need to drop finished special order bags to feed store. The weather is nice and I am going to ride Boo bike. Most exciting. Yesterday I filled her tank for $8, so that was my decision maker. $4 vs $50 of gas- done. Plus it will be fun.

It’s all done!! Woohoo! Now I get two months of Christmas questions and discussions

I’m so nervous about them making it to hatch!! Think good thoughts!! All three were moving pretty good last night!

Gave all the chickens treats early this morning so they have plenty of time to eat it and entertain themselves before the rains come. We are supposed to get some rain around noon and it’s cold today

The Squeakers bunch were feeling saucy this morning so I got a picture or two

Wonder if I can talk hubby into a bike with those gas difference's? O wouldn't that be fun!
When I wanted a truck, he got me one for Xmas....but it was maybe 2 feet tall and 2 feet long. Makes a great planter is about all

It used to be one of my favorite holidays when I was growing up! I would decorate the front porch all spooky and planned all the decor for weeks. Spooky music, dry ice, hanging bats, howling…I tried one upping it every year. Maybe I will again some day but I’m just too tired to do added decorating that has to be taken down too! But it is fun seeing the kids excitement and they just love the spooky houses and full sized candy bars I remember feeling that feeling of shock and love for every house that gave us a big candy bar

Besides the usual work in the chicken coop, today I sprayed everything with diluted lavender oil, the nests, the sleeping room, and even my chickens! After that, I sat in the chicken coop on a small chair and watched my pets for about an hour.
Today, for the first time, I saw that my young English Araucana rooster went to the nest and laid an egg!
...Although it was obvious that it was a rooster, I was wrong!

Halloween and Christmas are my favorite holidays. I love dressing my kids up and honestly doing their costumes is exciting for me. Especially when I get to see the finished product and see how it all came together. I haven’t really decorated the last 2 years though. Mostly do to moving and this year is more just a lot that has been going on as many of you know. I’m hoping Christmas is much better.

I get why you wouldn’t decorate. My mom went through this when I wasn’t home, the only one with grandkids and my siblings were old enough to not care. She picked back up when I moved back home but the last few years she hasn’t done any decorating either. Even Christmas is just a decorated tree. Her work keeps her pretty busy too.

They are so cute!!! Sorry but just not the clown…I have a fear of clowns and even writing the word is sending me into panic. I know I’m pathetic… I just love their costumes though! All so different!

I agree, that clown is terribly creepy and I am also not a fan of them!! Not my kid haha! I'm not sure it would have been allowed in my house!
