I can’t even remember when I became obsessed. I just have loved them for so long! I hope you get your adventure! Going to Europe in general sounds amazing but to see sand tiger sharks on top of that would be the icing on top of the cake!

I don’t have ANY plans of letting him outside right now. More because of the cold weather and the rain we are getting. My sister in laws parents have a 3D printer, I may see if I can do something like that for him if I need to.Keep him indoors until he's fully healed. It could be another 3 weeks or so until the gangrene mummifies and falls off so you won't really know for sure until it does.
I've seen a roo with a prosthetic leg that was made on a 3d printer! He managed to still mate and live a normal life. If, as it sounds, he's healthy and not suffering otherwise, don't write him off just yet
I hope her test doesn’t come back positive… fingers crossed for you!!!Ugh. Just did some more reading and sounds like I should get her tested and cull her if she's positive. And get the rest of that flock tested at a minimum. Man that stuff sounds nasty. Fingers crossed she just had dirt irritation. I haven't had a seriously sick bird in years and even she doesn't look at all sick now.
trap extended story & saga update.The store bought kicked some fly trap & death butt. They were definitely starting to smell ripe the last day or so
The little homemade jobbies are actually doing pretty good for what they are. V's working better than the pukas. They are not full and don't smell yet so gunna let them ride. I will reset the 2 and put out a new big homemade today. The flies have cut down in numbers significantly but still plenty left to trap.
And then there is this...
Going to split Roo pen and set up 1/2 for cockerel.
He is a looker and good boy though. Wish I had some interest in him...

Getting some bags done and enjoying my view and company.
So, much of the same today.
Got a quick ride on Boo to check on the alfalfa fields and harvest. They are super behind and we only have 2 weeks left of hay after loaning 5 bales to a friend. Though the other 5 bales would only last us a few more weeks... these guys look months out.
DH heads to Oahu for his mom's 95th B-day next monday.
So, much of the same today.

Ah!!! Yall I'm so excited!!!
We were cleaning out from in under our deck that is about to be replaced in a few weeks with a covered back porch!
Ok that's not the most exciting news!!!
My DH saw first hand how much leftover hardware cloth, already painted LP Smartside Siding and a lot of scrap wood from all gardening, coop and run projects!!!
He said absolutely NO you cannot built an addition "for getting giggy with it".
I said but that way I can tell which boy and which girl and which eggs and sell em and have so much fun! He said NO!
So today....yall!!! In a vulnerable state he said I could just so long as I don't ask for his help!!!
Agh!!! I'm super excited!!! I can't imagine all the babies we gonna get to see now!!!
Between Joey, Bluey and all my laying girlees! Then that's not even considering the new Buff babies!!! Which let me just say are too adorable!
Ok...sorry I had to share some excitement....and of course I'm gonna need yalls assistance in designing this suite of a coop for lots of babies!!!

I worry about overdosing on vitamins so I add nothing to their feed. Everything is offered separate so it's easy for them to eat or not eat it. That looks tasty though!
