What did you do with your flock today?

Hello! This is a place to post pictures/talk about what you and your flock have done today.

I was on a zoom call earlier and Iris, my rooster, decided to stand behind me and crow repeatedly. Thankfully I was on mute, but it was still annoying. They couldn’t see him, but they could see me trying to make him quiet, which was a little embarrassing.

I currently have chicks only right now and they’ve gotten so big! I’ve been holding them and letting them explore!

I love them all so much!! Proud to be their mama

What I did with my flock today...? Checked for eggs, fresh food and water, oh and mainly caring for my I'll OEGB pullet.

I once fell head first into a patch of nettles. I nettled my eyes. Not a pleasant experience, I don't recommend It!

For sure haven’t done that….OUCH!

I have ran into barbed wire fence with my fence. Luckily it only left scars by my nose and mouth. It didn’t get my eyes….

I have 2 more pips on my Call eggs. Nothing yet for my chickens but that’s ok. It’s just day 20 about an hour or so ago.

This is the first time time I've letting all my babies out in the backyard cause of hawks but I luv for em to have some free time.
Mine have been nibbling the lambs ear! I don't wanna put up a fence around everything but I don't want everything eaten either lol!
Ya got any pics of your area for ideas?!

Mine demolished a 4ft wide patch of lamb's ears in an hour. It's a definite chicken favourite. Maybe they like the velvety texture of the leaves?

Got some better photos of the crew today, it was very nice out compared to yesterday! No wind, so I was able to do my boys justice

Of course the hens wanted some attention as well, and I can’t not show their funny photos

I also attempted to take more photos of Raven for you guys, since you like her, buuut she wasn’t having it with me today. This was the only one I got

They are all so beautiful! I'm so jealous as I can't let any chicks hatch for the foreseeable future so I'm living vicariously through all you lovely people.

How on earth did you do that??? You were so lucky not to injure yourself worse!

I have a scar from when I fell off a horse (really wasn't expecting the 6ft drop the other side of a 3ft wall...) and impaled my face on a metal spike. Sounds more dramatic than it actually was.
