What did you do with your flock today?

Double birthday today, Pru and Clara are 3. They all had scrambled eggs, salmon and peas for lunch and a peanut butter 'cake' topped with yoghurt, strawberries and blueberries for tea. Will have some stinky black poops to clear up in the morning for sure!

Also, my brother's wedding is Thursday and both the florist and the cake maker have pulled out! The cake maker claims she didn't know the cake had to be gluten-free (not true) and says she can't do one at short notice! Not sure what the problem is with the florist.

Sooo... My mom is now making the cake. Somehow I have to make a sugar flower rose spray etc. for it AND do the bridal bouquet! Terrified I muck it all up as I've never made sugar flowers before. Thank God for You Tube!

What a good sport you are to do that for him. I'm sure your flowers will turn out perfect. And if not, they will be all the more special because of the effort.

I sure could!! Shadow may have the capacity but so far lacks the interest in the outdoors The husband who insisted this one was outdoors only has declared him a failure and brings him in to sit in his lap

They sell stinging nettle at our farmers market. I can’t believe people actually eat that. I can’t even touch it.

When cooked it loses the stinging aspect and is very nutritious.

What a good chicken mom and sister you are! You will do an amazing job! Must see the end products! I did the centerpieces for my sisters wedding—it’s harder than I thought but they turned out so pretty! Pinterest ideas and YouTube…where would we be without them?

Your poor brother! I'm so glad you and your mom have their backs! I'm sure however it comes out they'll love it
