My Christmas miracle a little early!!!

eating on his own, and wandering the the garden run.

the pullet in the middle , could not move and had her head down just 2 days ago!

One left to go, but she has her head up. Thought FORSURE I was going to lose her. Like i thought she had like a 2% chance. She was just mush.

I have never experienced anything like this b4. They even smelled of death. Tylan200 and syringe feeding protein powder with vits, honey and touch of salt 10mils, 3x a day.

Hooray! I'm so glad two are feeling good and the thirds showing improvement .

Late yesterday afternoon I got to spend a little uninterrupted time with my gang of 3 with some pancake treats. One is Indrio Gigante x Aseel, one is Easter egger x AGF, one is Cubalaya x AGF. The IG is becoming more tame by the day, The CA is not quite as tame as she was, The EE x AGF is still skeptical of my motives but once in a while he got a piece of the treat. The IGxA has a pair of legs on him with a neck to match. I think he is going to be my Body Guard once he is grown.

O my gosh that's so adorable . What a good boy Forest is! Our cats are all meanies that attack new cats if they can. They barely tolerate each other. I don't think they'd ever accept a new kitty no matter how carefully they were introduced.
What lucky little tykes you have there!

It is Forest. He is a special kitty ♡♡ think Tally will be special too. Love my stripes!!!

I let my chickens out to forage early today, starting around 2PM. An hour later I noticed that they decided to explore a lot farther away than I'm comfortable with so I hopped on my riding mower and used it to herd them back to the house. The big, loud, yellow and black mower kind of scares them so it worked really well! LOL

My dh mowed today, and the flock was ecstatic!

While I was bending over to fill the feeder I heard wings flapping and a weight landed on top of my hat, which had my head in it! It was one of the Dominiques, Tamar. I reached up and removed her from my head and she walked off.

While digging in my raised bed I found a couple big white grubs. I walked over to the coop and Abigail greeted me by the door. The rest of the flock rushed over, but it was too late, Abigail was the early bird who got the, er, grub.


Joel was NOT amused...
