The girls and I shared oatmeal with banana, walnuts and cinnamon in it. By sharing, I mean in separate bowls...we did not share a single bowl. Just want to make that clear

Lol you would need to be a quick eater to share a bowl with chickens, might be smart to wear gloves too...

Having cream of wheat here, just to change things up. Need to get ready to leave this morning, I have to go to a 4 year olds birthday party. It is an hour and a half drive and I still haven't gotten him a present. Then we will probably go to the hockey game in town that night. Busy day, and chickens will probably just have to stay in the barn today.

Ahhh come on, you could drive over for the day. The chickens are fairly well behaved...except one little bugger. Took me a half hour of walking through tall grass and sticks before I finally caught her to get her shut up for the night. Part of the difficulty was my large tom kept sitting at the barn door and everytime I got the chicken near, he wouldn't move and so she would bolt. Fool animals.
