What did you have for breakfast this morning?

I was rushed this morning and DH had to get to work so today breakfast was my old fall back: apple with peanut butter. The Honey Crisp apples have been awesome so far this fall!

That is one of my girls favorite snacks. We prefer Gala apples here. For a fun treat I mix marshmallow fluff with peanutbutter then use that as an apple dip. The kids love it.

I like a lot of different apples (Gala, Jonathan, Fiji, Braeburn) but the Honey Crisps were on sale so I loaded up!

Today I had a ham and Gouda cheese omelet. Since I made it instead of DH, it was more like scrambled egg with ham and cheese but it was supposed to be an omelet.

DH working M-F is really messing with my breakfasts!

DH can make omelets that look like that. He's a good cook (I'm the baker).

I went to a restaurant once that only served omelets. It was kind of fun. You'd start at one end of a line and tell the first cook how many eggs you wanted for your omelet and the next several cooks would add all of the various ingredients you chose from a buffet-type set up. By the time you got to the end of the line and picked up toast, muffin, etc. and a drink, your special made omelet was done. Now those guys knew how to flip an omelet and they were fast!
