Good to know there are others out there! Breakfast was no-bake cookies and rice, lentil, and tomato soup.

Grit bowl day, yahoo, one of my favorites!

A spoonful of grits, topped with a few pieces of sausage, topped with an over easy egg, topped with a sprinkle of grated cheese. And apple cider to drink.

Man, I'm still stuffed.


Alex, no bake cookies are wonderful...haven't made those forever, might have to dig up the recipe now that you reminded me.

Today's breakfast was leftover mashed potatoes. Nothing to brag about but filling!

My favorite is to reheat mashed potatoes with cheese, preferably jalapeño chihuahua. Mmmmmm.....blissfully delicious.

Ok, now I'm forced to admit there was 1 glob of sour cream left in the container and a bit of shredded cheddar left so they went on the leftover mashed potato.

I guess my breakfast was really a fridge clean out kind of thing. Tasted pretty good though!

I had a big bowl of my moms homemade chickens soup with some homemade bread, not the traditional breakfast but it was good
