What did you have to learn the hard way? (management stuff)

We learned the hard way that wet chickens smell REALLY bad.

We also learned that responsible culling hurts worse than sudden death.

Today's a sad day.

We also learned that the Easter Egg hunt feeling never goes away when it's time to collect eggs.

If you freerange its not a good idea to walk the yard without shoes on

If you leave your plate on the picnic table and go inside just for a minute, chickens can empty a plate of food, and they dont like my wifes macaroni salad either

ETA: I also learned that wet shavings stink a whole lot more than wet pellets!! Wet pellets actually smell good, until they are poopy and nasty!
