What did you name your ducks?!

I did not want to name our ducks last year, but they have started to "earn" their names:
It all started with "Limpy" last year, he became very sick, suspected botulism and he is limping ever since. There was a duck always watching closely while we were treating him and she was always close by like a nurse, so she was named Katharina - i was once very sick in a hospital and the nurse who cared most about me name is Katharina. She is currently broody and sitting on nine eggs.
Then i started to prepare the duck-platform for the winter there was one duck always around me, looking what i did and commenting - Curiosity Duck.
Our large drake turned out to be a real bully and a**hole, he was quickly named Donald… sadly he disappeared early this year and we suspect a Coyote attack.
The last of the "old" ducks did not talk much, was very shy and we could not find a suitable name for her, for a while she was Noname Duck, now shorter Nona. She is a real sweet girl now, very friendly.
Then came the Spring Ducklings this year, 15 little fluffbutts. One was injured and the BYC community quickly named her "Forest" (Gump), she was later known as "Amelia" (Earhart) because she traveled so much, she now lives in a good home with several other special care ducks under the name "Daisy".
The other "ducklings" slowly earned their names, there is Pom Pom, with the silly crest on her head, her sister Pommes with a crest that looks like a french fry and Maggie, the Magpie duck with the completely black bill.
Blanca Duck the cheekiest of the White Layers and her sister Earthquack who is causing ducknamis when jumping into the pool.
There is Olivia, the Buff Orpington duck with the olive-green bill and Violeta, also has an olive-green bill but a violet leg band.
And then there is the Buff-Orpington drake, he was the smallest duckling and i named him "Erpelchen" (Erpel = Drake in German) because he was so small and so cute. Now He is almost as large as Earthquack and has turned into a serial rapist although he almost lost "it" to Blanca Duck once.
The other "new" ducks still have no names, but that will surely change in the future…

I like the idea of “earning” a name

Peachy
Pretzel
Pecan
Peanut

Chicken Parmesan (Parm)
Pirisi

Calico
Sherman
Sherman 2
Sherman 3
Sherman 4
Sherman 5

These are some of my recent chicken names but they probably would work for ducks too.

Peanut! So cute!

The only one with a name is our crested duck who we call Beyonce.
She was the feistiest and noisiest as a duckling, but now she is the most aloof and the calmest!

Our Pekin (female) is called "Peepers" because it was the loudest of the group when chicks.
Our Cayuga (drake) is called "Sport" because he was more patient with me picking him up.
We have a mallard (female) and either another one or a Rouen... couldn't tell them apart when chicks so named them after my twin brother-in-laws... "Lloyd and Floyd". They don't seem to care that they have boy names. I really think only one is mallard.

Love the concept of "earning names"... as you see, two of ours earned their names.
