What did you name your peafowl?

I'll start: we just got an India Blue and we named him Solomon, because he reminds us of a king arrayed in royal robes.

For males, I have got Octavian, my opal:



And Blu, my india blue dark pied out of silver pied:


For girls, I have my baby girl, Osiris (Blu's half sister):



And my pied, Aurora:


I also have an india blue named Lily, but she is going to a friend's house this weekend.

George:


He was a stray who wandered in. The hubby and I were amazed by his personality. Curious, funny, he kept us entertained at work and at home.











Unfortunately, his free range ways ended abruptly with a open fracture of his right leg. 3 weeks in the 'hospital' and he now lives in seclusion at our barn.




I wish I could allow him to free range, but I'd feel irresponsible knowing the predatory nature of the neighbors.

George is doing well! Thanks for asking. He's not using his leg, but he's learned how to get around. He no longer gets to wander the land and seems content living in his new home.
