What did your chickens do to make you laugh today?

I had to put terramyacin on one of my drake's eyes and I waited until tonight when the ducks were in their coop. Their coop is a refurbished child's playhouse. I was half in and half out the door wrangling my drake to put the ointment on. One of my runners jumped up onto a ledge and then onto my back to fly out the door. It made me giggle.

All the chickens obsessed over what Doodle was eating even though it was the exact same thing in their feeder, just in a much smaller amount.

Me : Puts my chicky Chipi outside her nest box to break her broodiness.
Chipi : ROCKS WILL DO!!!

I switched my chicks to bedding today as they started trying to shred the puppy pads. After placing them back in their brooder, all 5 launched off the bedding and refused to come down off the heat plate for 2 hours then proceeded to toss it all in their food and water several times. I find their antics very entertaining!

I was playing outside with LO today while the girls were out. He was playing chef and serving up some spectacular dirt entrees (which I of course theatrically pretended to eat.) All six girls huddled around us eager to get in on the "snacks" but utterly perplexed. One even went so far as to take a little nibble of a dirt pie.

My ducks sat at the gate quacking thair heads off. Figured they were hungry, so I went in and filled up their empty feeder. Left the run and they followed me to the gate still quacking. They didn't even care that I fed them, just wanted to be let out because that food tastes bad compared to what they can forage.
